Nature trail walk

Captured, my first egret photo of 2014. Clear blue skies and warm temperatures up to 24C make it an ideal day for a nature walk.

Fish congregate in a fast evaporating pool of water. This could be called the 'dry season', as rain is scarce, so these fish are unlikely to survive another week. They may be fished by the locals, otherwise they could end up on the egrets menu.

This turtle (I assume a tortoise is unlikely to find itself in this position) clings to a tree branch in a pond and makes the most of today's sunshine...

... and a wagtail enjoys the sunshine too.
