Peacock pansy (Nymphalidae)

I came across this stunning butterfly today which I have not seen before.



Not another grasshopper ... I'm afraid so, they are quite photogenic and usually stay put while I photograph them.

    Hi Jan ... looks like you have been getting around a lot! Wonderful pics of central Taiwan, I see even snow/ice at the top ;) No sign of any Winter here yet, the spring flowers are coming up now and temperatures up to 12° which is a record for HH. LOL Cx
