Geckos
It's a hot sunny day.
It's hard to know whether it's autumn or spring at present. It's a warm 25C degrees but leaves and fruit are dropping from the trees like it is autumn ...
... the heat certainly brought out the geckos. Although they can be seen in winter they do tend to hide away, but today there was no shortage of them. This one seemed to enjoy posing for me, cocking its head at various angles to ensure that his best side was captured.
Day by day the variety of butterflies increases.
Two (Graphium sarpedon) or Common blue bottles flirt in the 'spring' sunshine. These were the first I had seen this year.
This tiny silver blue butterfly, hardly more than a centimeter across, was particularly hard to photograph. These rarely stop flitting about and when they do their wings, which are brown on the underside, are usually together making them virtually impossible to see.
