Night Heron

A Malayan night heron visits my garden this morning and does a super slow motion walk, much like a cat might do when stalking a bird. These birds are either very tame or highly concentrated on their task as it is possible to get very close to them without disturbing them.

It's a muggy and overcast day, which is probably why the night heron was out and about as they are supposed to be nocturnal creatures. The damp weather has not deterred the butterflies.

'Drongos' tweeting high in the trees, which only goes to prove you can tweet even if you are not on Twitter.
