Centipede

It's back again and in my bedroom, the giant red-headed centipede and now I learn that it's venomous! Not sure I would have put my finger quite so close having learnt that they can give you a nasty bite and in extreme cases kill. It certainly was not your typically passive European centipede as this one could stand on its rear legs and looked ready to fight anything that got in its way. After a brief tussle I captured it in a box and ejected into the garden hoping that the Night Heron might take an interest.
