Sand sculpture

Near Nantou there was also a sand sculpture festival. This gorilla about to pummel a lion with a rock was by far the largest of them. The sculptures were created in a dry river bed and just how big this one was can be seen by the people in the foreground as the sculpture was at least 100m away from them.
